Often this is all the motivation an employee needs to increase. There are other alternatives in Chapter 5, but these are generally the most practical.As a final alternative, you can always fire the high-risk worker without a release, and let the chips fall as they may. Of all your evidence, the dismissal notice is the most important. The human resource person should begin by calculating the reasons for terminating the employee. o Tells you or others she has gotten, or will get, a legal counsellor against the business. You could, unquestionably, layoff people in a group meeting. You can then lay off him with the next incident. o Have you confirmed the worker's gross misconduct using a thorough, fair probe? Frequently all you need is one page or less. The worst mistake a terminating supervisor can make involves writing the layoff memorandum.

The idea of this sample lay off memorandum is to make it easy for any member of your management team to fill out. Now you have dramatically cut your risk of legal action. Once you decide this is a low-risk termination, you lay off right away and give your guideline dismissal package to the employee. Unfortunately, these are the personnel you are most desperate to dismiss. When you fire an executive for lackluster productivity (with or without a contract), it's commonly for his organization's lack of results and not for his personal behavior.
